Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all gclouds services and is part of our Terms of Service. You are responsible for all activity on your services, including by your users or by anyone who gains access to them.
1. Prohibited activities
- Spam: sending unsolicited bulk email or messages, operating open relays or proxies, or hosting sites advertised by spam.
- Cryptocurrency mining: mining or similar sustained, resource-intensive proof-of-work activity is not permitted on any service.
- Attacks and scanning: denial-of-service attacks, port scanning, vulnerability scanning, brute-force login attempts, packet sniffing or any unauthorized access to systems or networks you do not own or have permission to test.
- Malware: hosting or distributing viruses, botnets, command-and-control servers, phishing pages or other malicious software.
- Illegal content: any content or activity that is illegal in the United States or in the location of the data center, including child sexual abuse material (reported to authorities), infringement of copyrights or trademarks, fraud, and market manipulation.
- Network abuse: IP spoofing, using IP addresses not assigned to you, or interfering with the service of other customers.
2. Fair use of resources
Shared resources must not be used in a way that degrades the service of other customers. We may limit services that do so.
3. Abuse handling
Report abuse to abuse@gclouds.io with relevant evidence (logs, headers, timestamps, IP addresses). When we receive a complaint about your service, we will normally forward it to you and expect a response and resolution within 24 hours. For serious or ongoing abuse, or where required by our upstream providers or by law, we may null-route, suspend or terminate a service immediately without notice.
4. Consequences
Violations may result in warning, suspension or termination of services without refund, and we may cooperate with law enforcement. You are liable for any costs incurred by gclouds as a result of your violation, including blacklist removal and upstream fees.
